Implementation and ongoing costs vary but typically range from $100,000 to $300,000 initially, with lower annual maintenance fees.<br /><br />Overall, ESOPs provide a sustainable, tax-efficient transition option that aligns employee interests with company growth and legacy preservation, suitable for firms typically above 20 employees and stable financial profiles.
